    POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM IN MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTHACADEMIC MASTER’S DEGREE

    COURSE OBJECTIVES: The stricto sensu Postgraduate Program in Maternal and Child Health emphasizes clinical and epidemiology and aims to prepare master’s students for a research career. Its assumptions are innovation, multidisciplinarity, internationalization, a profile centered on Postgraduates, and the transfer of benefits to society. The program aims to deepen scientific and professional training and develop new techniques, generating knowledge and technologies that can benefit Brazilian mothers and children.

    TARGET AUDIENCE: Health professionals who have graduated from courses recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC).

    SELECTION PERIODICITY: Semi-annual.

    OPENINGS PER SELECTION: 10 (ten).

    TOTAL COURSE LOAD: 450 hours (30 credits), of which:

    • 420 hours of mandatory courses (28 credits).

    • 30 hours of elective courses (2 credits).

    DURATION: 18 to 24 months.
